This is the online home for CultureSource. We are a professional association comprised of 115+ organizations serving the region as nonprofit enterprises for the arts and culture.

We work to advance the missions and works of each of our members by helping them connect with new people and audiences, with each other, and with new opportunities.

You can get involved with arts and culture in real life. Join an organization as a volunteer. Find the right organization and let them know about you through CultureVolunteer. The new program connects volunteers and organizations with each other.

In addition to our Jobs Bank, CultureSource has partnered with Intern in Michigan to provide our membership with a new service that will dynamically match internship candidates with organizations based on their individual interests and unique skill sets. What is the value of a local audience? If you are a historical society, an historic house, a community chorus or performing ensemble, the community art center… that audience means the world to you. They are the people who come to your events. They are the people most likely to take a class, attend the whole lecture series, and talk up what you do to their friends. And they bring their friends along. They also are your best candidates to be members and donors.
