Dear CultureSource Members,

Cheers to 2018.

As we begin the new year, a few developments make our CultureSource team particularly optimistic and energized:

New Members
Since October 2017 our membership has surged to 139 organizations, the highest in our 10-year history. Moving forward, our staff will rely on our membership committee to enhance our support of you and your work. To get involved and share your ideas, please contact our Membership Manager, Kim Howard.

New Role for Me: MCACA Chair
My appointment to chair the state arts council is an honor as well as a great opportunity for me to better connect you with state and federal resources. First, please apply for the council's upcoming minigrants (due January 15) and new leaders grants (due February 23). Additionally, reach out and ask me to help you identify other funding opportunities, and let our governor know how your community has benefited from support you have already received, especially before his likely February budget announcement.

New Programs
As we begin a new year and a new decade as this region’s alliance supporting the arts and culture sector, CultureSource is recommitting to being responsive, relevant, creative, and contemporary in our services. Between January and May, we will be working with consultants from Lutman & Associates to evaluate programmatic concepts and pilot implementation that relate to organizational health, sector visibility, and social impact.

Looking forward to an exciting year ahead,
