Four delightful adaptations of one acts, poking fun at the trials and tribulations of love.. "Fickle Love & Forbidden Fruit:" The Marriage Proposal ​by Anton Chekhov & adapted by Kirk Haas. The play revolves around a young man who asks for the hand of his neighbor's daughter only to get in an argument with her. 2) The Boor by Anton Chekhov adaption by Kirk Haas: ​A creditor comes to collect on a debt ​from the feisty widow of a former client only to discover love. 3) Red Carnations by Glenn Hughes A young man arrives at a romantic rendezvous only to find another man there who has been asked there as well. 4)​Forbidden Fruit by Jules Tasca. A young wife asks her husband to take her to a restaurant to spice up their marriage but in proceed to flirt with his business associate.
