Add to Calendar 07 21 2017 America/Detroit Night of Impossible Flowers Dance, theater, music and poetry drawing on North European legends of a fire-flowering fern, and guardian bird spirits of place. Associating these with human power and responsibility in manipulating and altering environments through electromagnetic "rare earth"-based devices, the piece celebrates the guiding touchstone of genuine connection with the living system and stars.

Music by percussionist Curtis Glatter and others TBA. Followed by audience participation in open dancing. Flow arts (hooping, acrobatic, etc.) are welcome. Rain date: July 23 at 7:30pm
