Basement Cosmos is a multimedia exhibition that examines the relationship between human beings and the infinite expanse of space through banal, everyday objects. Materials such as aluminum foil, cardboard, and coffee grounds are used to depict the origin and collapse of our universe, as well as our place within it. This exhibition is presented in conjunction with Holoweski's two-channel video "As Above, So Below," projected on the outside of the Detroit Institute of Arts for DLECTRICITY. Exhibit on display through October 21, 2017.
