This year marks the 50th anniversary of the tumultuous summer of 1967 in Detroit, and The Henry Ford is collaborating with The Detroit Historical Society in its significant community engagement project, "Detroit 67: Looking Back to Move Forward."

As part of this collaboration, The Henry Ford is pleased to announce a conversation on featuring Professor Heather Ann Thompson. Professor Thompson offers a new perspective on Detroit's slow-motion economic collapse in the decades following the 1967 uprising. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, Stephen Henderson will facilitate.
