The University of Michigan has a rich history of supporting and encouraging a culture of creativity across all disciplines. Boasting 20+ museums and galleries, and a yearly schedule of 150+ exhibitions, 700+ arts-related talks and tours, and 1,000+ performances that are free and open to the public, U-M is dedicated to offering transformative experiences for our students and our greater community. The U-M Arts & Culture initiative was established to foster community partnerships, to increase awareness of and access to the University’s world class academic programs, collections, facilities and other resources.
