Animal lovers and Detroit Zoo supporters can spend an extraordinary evening helping to save species at the Wildlife Conservation Gala. The evening includes hors d’oeuvres, cocktails and sit-down dinner in the Wildlife Interpretive Gallery as well as a raffle with special prizes. Themed “Standing up to Extinction”, this event will highlight the Zoo’s world-renowned conservation efforts to save species across the globe, particularly amphibians. 21-and-older, black-tie optional.

Wheelchairs are available for rent by the Chrysler Main Station and near the Africa Station seasonally. Volunteers are often available to further assist in accommodating guests with disabilities. Please contact us in advance of your visit at (248) 541-5717 ext. 3750. Service animals are permitted in all public areas of the Zoo except the Matilda R. Wilson, Free-Flight Aviary, Rainforest Immersion Gallery of the National Amphibian Conservation Center and Australian Outback Adventure, due to free-ranging animals.
