Paint Creek Center for the Arts

Paint Creek Center for the Arts (PCCA) evolved out of the Art & Apples Festival® which held its first art festival in Rochester Municipal Park in 1965. The Art & Apples Festival was founded and produced by local residents and businesses in Rochester® for almost 20 years. This group founded the Rochester Arts Commission in 1976 with the goal of establishing a community art center in Rochester. In 1983, PCCA was established and opened its doors to the public at its current location at 407 Pine Street in Rochester, Michigan. PCCA took over management of the Art & Apples Festival® in 1983 and has continued to produce the annual event which boasts a top 50 national ranking (by Sunshine Artist Magazine) for several years running.
