August 13th – August 17th
Monday-Friday 9am-4pm
Let’s take a close look at one of the most popular subjects in art: FOOD! Whether it’s still life drawings, pop art prints, or paintings of cakes by Wayne Thiebaud, food has been used in art around the world and through the ages. Campers will really dig in this week as they:

- Learn how to use color and value to make a drawing or painting of food appear realistic
- Make a larger-than-life sculpture of a favorite food
- Experiment with gelli plate printmaking techniques and create crazy, vibrant, colorful printed patterns using a variety of different foods
