March 4th
1:30-3:30pm
For many artists, setting prices seems a difficult, daunting task. So this workshop will teach how to price creative work so you earn a profit – and pay for new equipment required to make more. Discover how to compare prices on handmade and artisan items. Discuss discounts and price reductions – and alternatives that value your work. Then in the second half of the workshop, we turn to promoting yourself and your work – through social media, by media interviews, by sharing work with event promoters – and by developing customers who sing your praises.

Presenters include: Dorothy Jet Carter, a fiber artist and former corporate trainer; Artist Lynette Halaly; Moderated by Sommer Realy, with Integrity Shows, and Vickie Elmer, executive director of Mint Artists Guild.
