February 11th
10am-12pm
UMMA is pleased to participate, for the second year, in a program created for families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). "My Turn" was developed by the Ann Arbor Hands On Museum to implement accessible and inclusive programming, particularly for families affected by ASD. On Sunday, February 11, UMMA will open exclusively for a sensory friendly program allowing families to enjoy art in a fun and welcoming atmosphere. Families will have access to special hands-on activities in the galleries that will help encourage exploration and discovery. This event is recommended for ages 5-18, however all are welcome to participate.
