I AM New Detroit is a non-profit with a commitment to help those in life transitions find affordable housing. Last year, the proceeds from the 2nd Annual Black Tie event went directly to help a female veteran and her family find a home. This year is no different and proceeds will again help other deserving families in need. This Black Tie event will include Free valet , food (Taste of Detroit) some of the best restaurants and caterers in Detroit and entertainment.

Parking Cost and Availability:
Lighted, affordable and secure parking is available behind the museum at the Cultural Center parking lot. Enter from John R Street, a one-way street heading south. Metered parking is available on three sides of the museum on Warren Avenue, Brush Street, and Farnsworth Avenue.
Accessibility Information:
The museum is accessible to visitors with disabilities. Elevators and ramps serve all public areas. A limited number of wheel chairs are available. All of our exhibits can accommodate strollers.
